Between Presence and Absence&#8221;. Addressing the issue of &#8220;absent&#8221; spaces, Perrault focused on subterranean architecture. That is, with the atrium of the Biblioth\u00e8que Fran\u00e7ois Mitterrand, Perrault himself provided one of the most striking examples, which later became a setting of W.G.
