{"id":8623,"date":"2021-04-21T17:17:13","date_gmt":"2021-04-21T16:17:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/michaelschindhelm.com\/?p=8623"},"modified":"2021-10-19T08:28:18","modified_gmt":"2021-10-19T07:28:18","slug":"upcoming-documentary-on-hong-kongs-museum-m","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/michaelschindhelm.com\/en\/upcoming-documentary-on-hong-kongs-museum-m\/","title":{"rendered":"Upcoming Documentary On Hong Kong\u2019s Museum M+"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Together with Zurich-based producer\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.filmerei.ch\/\"><strong>Filmerei<\/strong><\/a>, Michael Schindhelm and Yawen Schindhelm-Yeo are starting work on the documentary about M+, the first museum of its kind in Asia.<\/p>\n<p>Produced for Swiss TV SF DRS and 3Sat, the film focuses on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westkowloon.hk\/en\/the-district\/architecture-facilities\/m-4\">M+ Museum<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0opening in summer 2021 in the midst of Hong Kong\u2019s dynamic social situation.<\/p>\n<p>The M+ documentary completes a trilogy of works by Michael Schindhelm, including \u201cBird\u2019s Nest\u201d (co-directed with Christoph Schaub) and \u201cThe Chinese Lives of Uli Sigg\u201d, which plot the social and cultural transformation in contemporary China.
