YO!Mag features “Friday in Venice”
The current issue of the online magazine YO! (published by the European Youth Forum) reports on the transmedia storytelling project “Friday in Venice”. In the article, entitled Friday in Venice: innovation in youth, author Nathalie Janson assumes that the project could serve as a model for a future dialogue “between European politicians and younger generations”. She emphasizes that the declining voter turnout among younger people is not necessarily rooted in a lack of interest – rather, young voters did not “feel represented by established political parties and mainstream politics.” Hence, new opportunities for partcipiation are urgently needed.
