Culture in New Cities
Accompanying the stars 2017 event series, taking place from February 22 – 25 in Singapore and from April 23 – 28 in Chengdu, Michael Schindhelm published an article on the topic of soft power, that he will discuss during his lectures.
The rapid development of Singapore is the focus of the contribution titled Culture in New Cities as soft power Acumen. After five decades the newly founded city state turned into mega city. The encouragement of strong cultural structures – soft power – thereby became a leading force of this transformation.
