“LAVAPOLIS” at the Frankfurt Book Fair
In a session called “Wirklichkeit und Wunschtraeume” (Reality and Wishful Dream), the French-German TV network arte will present Michael Schindhelm’s book LAVAPOLIS at the Frankfurt Book Fair. The event, moderated by Angela Gutzeit, will take place on October 8, 1pm at the Frankfurt fair hall.
In the evening of October 8, the Frankfurt gallery PRIVATEOFFSPACE hosts a reading by Michael Schindhelm, accompanied by a presentation of the videos of LAVAPOLIS. On the same occasion, Henning Lobin, professor for applied and computational linguistics at Giessen University will read from his recent book ENGELBARTS TRAUM, which deals with the authorship of the computer. The reading will be followed by a discussion on political heterotopias.
