“Und dann kam Sigg”
On February 27, 2016 the Magazin – a supplement to the Swiss newspaper Tages-Anzeiger – published Michael Schindhelm’s article “Und dann kam Sigg”. The essay sheds light on Sigg’s role within the “second Cultural Revolution”, the opening up of the Chinese market in the late 1970s. According to Schindhelm, Sigg’s success is rooted in his indefinitness: Rather than giving advices, Sigg listened carefully and tried to understand China.
