After symposia in Jakarta and Singapore the event series stars – for leaders of the next generation takes place in Chengdu.
Titled China and the World – Shifting Gears the event hosts lectures by many international speakers on the economic and cultural development in China. The symposium takes place from April 25 – 28.
Alongside the lecture by Michael Schindhelm Soft Power as Political and Business Acumen further panals include contributions by Jean-Jacques de Dardel, Ambassador of Switzerland to the People’s Republic of China, and Bernard Schwegler, Chief Operating Officer of Schindler in Shanghai – during the 1970’s their investment lead to the first joint venture between China and an European company.
In connection with the lecture by Michael Schindhelm, Huang Shan (Caixin Media, Beijing) and Lim Siong Guan (Advisor to the GIC Group Executive Committee, Singapore) will join the subsequent discussion, taking place on April 25.
